The Tampa Man was originally in Ocala, FL where he stood in front of Clayton's Small Engine Repair. Auto Air bought him in 2002 and kept his hard hat. He got a complete restoration in 2004. Unfortunately, they were recently forced by the city to remove him from the roof and they are hoping to install him in front of the store. They have two other Muffler Men: one at their Dade City, FL store and another at their Zephyrhills, FL store. For more, see this website.
This Tampa Cowboy stood in front of what was a pawn shop in Seven Points, TX when these photos were taken. He had held a rifle at one time. In 2004, he was sold to Auto Air Muffler in Tampa, FL. He will be restored, and outfitted with a baseball cap and large wrench. |

| The Cape Coral Big John stands at the Cape Coral Town Center (previously known as Big John's Plaza). He has been here since 1969 and has remained despite the store closing around 1986. At some point, nautical flags were painted on the front and back of his shirt. He stands on a base that used to revolve. For more, see this website. |
