The Colonial Motor Court has a nice sign and about a dozen sweet little cottages. Coastal Maine has tons of old beauties like this. I will only be showing/describing some of them on this page.

Vacationland Motor Court (closed)

The Vacationland Motor Court has more than two dozen cabins - which appear to have been empty for some time and are up for sale. This motor court occupies a huge piece of property.

Cascades Restaurant and Cabins

The Cascades Cabins are situated to the side and behind their giant restaurant. The row facing the road has brightly painted yellow roofs (as does the restaurant). The cabins out back look a little less kept-up.

Maine Idyll Motor Court

The Maine Idyll Motor Court has 20 cottages. It is still run by the same family that built it in 1932. Each cottage has a fireplace and birch logs are provided. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

Rose Eden Cottages

The Rose Eden Cottages have about a dozen wonderful little cabins/cottages, each with a different name about their doors. I believe these were built in the 1970s. For more, see their website.
