The Paul's Jewellery sign features a combination of neon and plastic elements. I believe only the "Paul's" portion is lit now.
Honest Ed's opened this block-long bargain store in 1948. The sign is composed of 23,000 light bulbs. The interior signage is all hand-painted. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. |

The El Mocambo Tavern has been offering live entertainment since it was established in 1946. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3.
The Canary Restaurant moved here in 1965 from another spot in town. I assume the signage came with them as it appears to be 1940s/1950s. The restaurant closed in 2007. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. |

O'Connor Bowl has been offering five-pin bowling since 1951. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, and 4. The Bowlero Lanes and the Capri Pizza signs appear to be from the from the 1950s and 1960s, respectively. |

The Chateau Lafayette opened in 1849. This sign is from the mid-1930s. The neon was repaired in 2009 but the owners are contemplating updating it with LED tubing in the future. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
The Pagoda Chop Suey House with the black sign has been downtown since the 1940s. I assume this other location with the red sign was built later. Both restaurants are still in operation. For more, see this website. Dutchman's Gold has been selling honey and maple products since 1981. Their sign includes a giant bee hive. For more, see their website. |

| The Capri Restaurant & Tavern opened in 1955. These photos are from 2007. In 2010, the restaurant closed and the signs were removed. For more, see this website. |
| Cadillac Motel Niagara Falls, ON |

| The Cadillac Motel also appears to be from the 1950s. Unfortunately, I was there during the off-season when the neon sign was not turned on. For more, see this website. |
| MacIntosh Dry Cleaners Kitchener, ON |
|

| MacIntosh Dry Cleaners has been here since 1934. The storefont's vitrolite tiles are an example of storefront as sign. There were also probably neon signs where the plastic ones are now. |

The Yorktown Square Shopping Centre sign was built in 1954. Just after this photo was taken in 2011, the sign was restored. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
Lazare's Furs opened here around 1928. This sign is probably from then. Although Lazare's Furs moved from this downtown location in 2011, the company still has vaults and a cleaning plant here. This sign also remains in place. For more, see this website. The Huron Motel sign may have been all neon originally. |

|
The Louis Restaurant and Glidden Dairy Bar feature vacuum-formed, plastic Coca-Cola signs. This design seem to be unique to Canada. There are others in Lasalle, ON, Penticton, BC, Vancouver, BC, and elsewhere. There is also another version in Canada with the Coke spelling.
The Helmar Confectionery is gone but this sign remains. My guess is that the sign is from the 1960s or 1970s. I have never seen one like it before. |

|
The Eastside Confectionery has been here since at least 1970. I have not seen an Orange Crush sign like this in the U.S. There was another one in Vancouver, BC.
The Ambassador Motel sign is probably from the 1950s or 1960s. It is lit at night. For more, see this website. I can't tell if the Blue Flame Gas Service sign is modern or vintage. The neon appears to be in good shape. Ernie's Coffee Shop opened in 1950. This sign appears to have been dramatically refurbished in recent years. The shape appears to be original but the lettering and paint are modern. The neon is protected behind plastic. It is lit at night. For more, see this website. |
