Hamburger Pattie's was originally Sam's Hof Brau. Sam's was part of a chain of restaurants opened by Sam Gorden in the late 1950s. This location closed in 1993. Luis Mexican Food opened in 1965 and closed in 2004. The sign remains for now while there are plans to demolish the restaurant. Luis' son opened Luis Jr.'s Mexican Food in 2004. This sign was modeled somewhat after the one at his father's restaurant. Luis Jr.'s is now closed as well. For more, see this website.

This Ring Up Rivett sign advertised for H.W. Rivett Flooring. The company was established in 1884 but closed in 2006. As of 2008, the sign was still there.

The Schroeder's Shoe Repair sign originally advertised for Dun Rite Shoe Repair which was established by the 1940s and moved here around 1958.
This shoe sign is a modern creation by Dexter Smith as a tribute to United Cobblers which used to occupy the space below. For more, see this website. The Foothill Skate Inn opened in 1973.
